This double issue of Judaica “En Memoria de Salomon Resnick” (In Memory of Salomon Resnick) , issued in 1948, includes many posthumous dedications and tributes by various Argentinian Jewish writers who were contemporaries and literary colleagues of the former director, as well as b/w reproductions of two bronze sculptures dedicated to the writer Israel Hoffmann, and a b/w reproduction of a painting by Salomon Resnick dedicated to Hoffmann. This issue includes an index for journal numbers 162-168, as well as a full page solicitation on the back cover for financial donations for the defense of Israel, beginning with: “Este capitulo de historia que escribio la Haganah, sera eterno…”, “This chapter of history written by the Haganah, will be eternal…” a quote by Ben Gurion. The Spanish journal Judaica was devoted to the promotion of Jewish culture through the publication of scholarly articles from all lines of thought, both Jewish and non-Jewish.
