Azariah Figo's canonical collection of sermons for Sabbath and the holidays. This edition, printed at Bohemia in 1799, contains both volumes bound together. With attractive printers device at the end of first volume. 'Binah la-'Ittim, ' seventy-five sermons for Saturdays and holidays (first published 1647-48) , by Azariah Ben Ephraim Figo, a “preacher at Venice; died at Rovigo 1647. Figo was an excellent scribe, and the scrolls which he wrote are highly prized. ” (1906 JE) . Printed on ragpaper. Subjects: Judaism - Liturgy – Texts. Fasts and feasts - Judaism – Meditations.
