Lazare Saminsky was a famous Russian-Jewish composer and conductor. While a student in St. Petersburg, he founded the Society for Jewish Folk. After emigrating to the United States in 1920, he became a board member of the International Composers Guild and music director of Temple Emanu-El Synagogue in New York. He composed the pieces for sale here on behalf of Temple Emanu-El. Minor shelf wear. Very Good Condition. (MUSIC-6-1).
