Press photograph from 1943 British exhibit, “The War As Seen By Children. ” The exhibition, publicly supported by leading modern artist (and refugee) Oskar Kokoschka, opened January 4, 1943, in the Cooling galleries, New Bond street, a fund-raiser for the German refugee school at Theydon Bois. It was put together by the Refugee Children’s Evacuation Fund. Some edgwear. Overall good+ condition. (HOLO2-126-16a).
