The title translates to “The Jewish Studies Observer. ” This quarterly Hebrew periodical was published every three months and focused on groundbreaking research in the field of Judaic Studies and Jewish intellectual life. Its main publisher, Lajos Blau, was a prominent Hungarian scholar and publicist. He taught Talmud, Hebrew, Aramaic, and Bible at the Landesrabbinerschule.
