Published during the postwar conflit between the Greek Government (which was backed by the United States) and the Greek Communist Party. From the English introduction: “The Fourth of July was celebrated this year by the members of the newly established Greek-American Parliamentary Group and other Greeks in a manner expressing their deep gratitude to the People of the United States for all they have done for Greece ever since the Greek Revolution of 1821 to the present time. ” Includes speeches from George Bacopoulos and Horace Smith. OCLC lists just 2 copes (Harvard, Sacramento) . Dampstains with slight wear to most pages and some discoloration on the front wrapper. Pages clear. Good condition. (AMR-51-27).
