Judah Eisenstein (1854-1956) was a Polish-Jewish-American who was best known for his Hebrew language anthologies and his editing of the first Hebrew encyclopedia. The publisher's description of the hagadah states "these hagadas are from every point of view the finest ever published. They combine Scholarship and art, with esthetic taste.
