Title Translates into English as, “History of the Wandering Jew, Written by Himself, Containing A Rapid and True Sketch of His Admirable Journeys for About Eighteen Centuries …” One of the earlier 19th century French books on the Wandering Jew written anonymously in Paris by Count Carlo Pasero de Corneliano. Published before the more widely read titles on the Juif Errant by Edgar Quinet and Eugène Sue. OCLC lists just 6 copies worldwide. Boards are worn. Some edgewear and damp stains throughout.
