The Foreword notes (translated) that “The first anniversary of the liberation of the Budapest ghetto has arrived. It is time to bring to the world the terrible documents of the tragedy of Judaism and put the still unbelievers who turn their heads into thinking; those who do not believe because they do not want to believe. But not only the persuasion of the doubters is the goal of this attempt, but also of recalling over and over again for those who forget quickly. This is the purpose of this sad picture book, with all the cries, complaints and death blows coming from all sides. These pictures are just dull shadows of reality. ” Subjects: Jews--Persecutions--Hungary--History--20th century. Holocaust, Jewish (1939-1945) --Hungary--Exhibitions. OCLC: 1022126577.
