Title translates to “She’erit Yisrael: The Second Part of Sefer Yosifon Containing the History from the Destruction of the Second Temple and Dispossession. ” Amelander was an 18th century Dutch writer and rabbinic commentator who published a number of influential bible commentaries. He first published She’erit Yisrael in Amsterdam (1771) under the name Keter Malkut. (EJ, 1906) . This contains the censor’s approval on the title page. SUBJECTS: Jews -- History -- 70-1789.
