Title translates to “The Book of New Minhah: Including every book of the Tanakh with Judeo-German Translation and Commentary. ” A 13-part Judeo-German translation and commentary of the Tanakh. Aaron Halle-Wolfssohn (1754-1835) was a German Jew and prominent figure of the Haskalah. Besides translating much of the Tanakh into German, he published a Hebrew-German primer (Abtalion) , commentaries, and essays (Wikipedia, 2018) . SUBJECTS: Bible. Old Testament.
