The group was founded in 1935 as a coalition of youth from Brit Ha-halutzim, Ezra, and Agudat Israel. They sought to encourage aliya to Israel in order to work the land and instill a spiritual element to settlement (EZRA, 2018) . SUBJECTS: Zionism. Orthodox Judaism.
