IL EST SI FACILE DE MOURIR SANS ÊTRE MORT: HITLER NE SERAIT PAS MORT?
Lyon: Editions Les Trois Couleurs, 1945. Item #41041
Presume 1st edition. Original illustrated paper wrappers. 12mo. 26 pages, 12 cm. In French. Title translates to "Would Hitler Not be Dead?" This strange short story casts doubt on the death of Hitler. It hypothesizes that in March 1945, Hitler usurped the identity of a certain Moses Levy, who was murdered in a concentration camp. Unclear to this cataloguer whether this is a serious proposal or a work of pure fiction. Certainly weird conspiracy theories circulated widely in the closing days of the war. No copies located in OCLC-Worldcat and we were unable to locate another copy anywhere. Wrappers are very lightly soiled and aged. Extremely good condition. Exceedingly rare and unusual. (BK5) (HOLO2-142-40).
