Hunger Created In The The Warsaw Ghetto Of 1942.” The Getto.pl site on the Warsaw Ghetto notes that those with medical knowledged in the Warsaw Ghetto devoted much time to observing the impact of starvation on the human body. In several hospitals, they organized medical teams responsible for examining the biophysical and biochemical processes associated with the extreme hunger. Materials from the study were secretly stored on the Aryan side and after the war were published via the Joint Distribution Committee in Polish in a work entitled “Choroba Glodowa; Badania Kliniczne Nad Glodem Wykonane w Getcie Warszawskim z Roku 1942.” SUBJECT (S) : Starvation.
