OCLC: 31800626. Based on our research, current holdings include 8 actual locations of this title (plus others with Microfilm incorrectly identified as hard copy in OCLC or Singerman). Only five libraries (JTS, Harvard, NY Historical, Princeton and Boston Public) have more than one volume at all; most holdings are fragmentary.
Ex-library (Academic) with most marks to later binding and endpapers; damp damage to binding (JTSA fire of 1966), with hinge broken through at rear and very light damp stains to most pages. Volume title page has tears touching title and impacting dates and final letter of publisher, with some archival repairs. Similar damage to index page following title page. Repaired margin tears extending into text of first 11 text leaves, then only occasional closed tears. Binding is split between Nr 14 and Nr 26 with some old cello tape on first page of issue nr 26. Issues 42-51, printed on lower quality paper, are fragile and show more edgewear due to earlier water damage. Good- Condition Overall. A nice run of this scarce and important American Jewish English- and German-Language Reconstruction-era Weekly. (KH-8-31-D-’+ oversize).
