Internal contradictions within individuals and entire groups are not glossed over. They should serve as an indication that the people we present were, after all, human beings in their development. Born in Wedding, this true Berliner dedicated his life's work to researching Berlin's history during the Third Reich. He conducted interviews with 500 Berliners about their experiences resisting the Nazi regime. His aim was to provide young people with positive role models and demonstrate that not all Germans were Nazis.
